The Challenge

Hi Mum! Said Dad and Sport Relief aimed to unite the nation and foster participation in a mass effort across sporting disciplines to Make Every Mile Count. The nation was challenged to log as many miles as possible, as a collective effort, in the lead up to the main event, extending event participation, supporting the addition of Swimming and Cycling and bring everyone together for a single, meaningful goal.

The Solution

We produced ‘Sport Relief - Make Every Mile Count’ across iOS, Android, Responsive Web and the backend solution to run it all.

Using GPS, the platform enabled users to track their practise miles as they prepared for the main event. Users were rewarded for logging miles with medals and exclusive videos from celebrities. Users could donate via in app billing and share achievements across social. For those that already had a preferred fitness app, users could import miles from the big names, such as RunKeeper, Moves, MapMyRun.
